There are so many things that come from cafes outside of delicious seasonal coffees or matchas.

I have gone to a cafe for a cafecito before a long work day. I’ve gone in the middle of the day on Saturday because the way the sky looked screamed ‘you need a matcha’.

I’ve gone for a hot tea after a fight with my mom, or a shot of double espresso after a fight with my dad.

I’ve also met friends and family at cafes to debrief. To chat. To comfort. To laugh. To cry.

I’ve gone to events at cafes that raised money for immigrant families or hosted an adoption day for cats and dogs. I’ve gone to art shows, artist pop ups, pottery classes, film screenings, meet and greets for local candidates and so much more.

Cafes have become such an important part of my life and are such staples within communities that I wanted to create a mail club that replicated that special feeling (or at least got close to it).

Even if you grab the coffee or matcha to go sit in your cozy home and snuggle with your cat or dog, there is a feeling provided that is hard to match.

So here we have Melli’s Cafe. A mail club for the coffee and matcha lovers. For the tea drinkers. For the ones who turn to a lemon lavender pop tart and a salted caramel horchata matcha to make their day a little brighter.

The Important Info

🌻 You can sign up anytime during the month (for instance, it’s September 17th - yes! sign up).

🌻 Letters will be mailed out using untracked stamps for cost effectiveness, this can take 1 to 5 business days according to USPS.

🌻 Letters will be mailed between the 25th - 27th of the month so you can receive them the first week of the following month. (But if you sign up the last day of the month - ex: Sept 30 - then please expect your letter to come possibly the second week)

🌻 to avoid extra fees, the mail club subscription will be charged separately through Stripe! (so you can’t purchase the mail club while also shopping for a new print or greeting card, it is a separate transaction- but thank you!)

🌻 After the next month starts, sign ups are closed for the previous month (So if you sign up October 2nd, you will receive November’s mail club goodies, NOT October's).

  • Please email mellipopsart@gmail.com and I will manually update your address! If for some reason you don’t hear back, it likely went to spam.

    While I check my spam weekly, another quick way to get in touch is to DM me on instagram or tiktok @mellipopsart

    Please update your address prior to the 27th of the month as you may run a risk of having it sent out to the wrong address.

    Either way, we will problem solve together :)

  • You will be charged monthly on the same day as when you signed up.

    For instance, if you signed up for the mail club on September 15th, you will be automatically charged to the saved payment method the 15th of each month.

  • We love supporting USPS! At the same time, because Melli’s Cafe uses untracked stamps, if you do not receive your letter after the first week of the month, please email me at mellipopsart@gmail.com OR DM me on instagram/tiktok.

    I will happily mail out a replacement on me.

  • We understand things change and Melli’s Cafe is grateful for the time we had you!!

    To cancel, please email mellipopsart@gmail.com before your charge date.

    Ex: if you are typically charged on the 10th of the month, please cancel before the 10th

    If you cancel after you are charged but before the 25th of the month, we can still work together to issue a refund before the next month, please email me.

    If you cancel on or after the 25th of the month, the cancellation will be effective for the following month.

    Ex: you cancel November 25th, you will still receive your December mail, but moving forward your subscription will be cancelled.

    Letters will typically be mailed out and prepared by then.

    Also, I know for some mail clubs we have an easy “cancel” button, but since Melli’s Cafe is hosted on my website to avoid extraneous fees (cough cough patreon), it is an extra step to email me to cancel. Thank you for your patience and understanding!!
